This retail façade for Céline showcases bespoke Japanese ceramic tiles, each 450mm tall and arranged in a dynamic twisting pattern. Handcrafted by skilled artisans in Japan, the tiles are precision-fitted to create a distinctive architectural surface.
Developed specifically for the project, the custom tiles bring depth, movement and texture to the façade, demonstrating how Japanese ceramic craftsmanship can be translated into large-scale retail and architectural applications.

JAPANESE TILES FOR LUXURY RETAIL
NORI tiles in Moss form a distinctive ceramic surface within this Cartier boutique. Handcrafted in Japan, the tiles are defined by subtle variations in glaze, colour and texture, creating depth across the installation while complementing the architectural language of the interior.
Used extensively across the walls, the green glazed tiles demonstrate how Japanese ceramic craftsmanship can be translated into contemporary luxury retail environments.

JAPANESE BLACK TILES FOR CONTEMPORARY BATHROOMS
The deep, matte black finish of CHIBI tiles creates a striking contrast against the surrounding natural landscape. Handcrafted in Japan, the slender ceramic tiles bring depth and texture to the interior, while their subtle surface variation softens the intensity of the black.
